Canella
The Dunlop Park Canella family started with a mating between the Ellen family (see below) and Kenalta McHenry a Canadian AI sire.
Dora
The Dora Line derives from the Springvale Floryx family. The first Dunlop Park Dora D61 was a grand-daughter of Noranda Glowman.
Ellen
The Ellen line derives from the Springvale Ellinda family. The first Dunlop Park Ellen (X32) was a daughter of Burn Tally (Wambanumba breeding).
Ellice
The Ellice family comes from the Springvale Ellinda family.
Esther
The Esther family was started with the purchase of Victoree Esther G9 (ET) at the Landfall sale in 1988. G9 was the daughter of F.Nichols Hallmark R225 (Imp. USA) and Summitcrest Ester R073 (Imp. USA). The Esther line has frame and growth and has bred many outstanding sites over the years.
Evita and Eleeta families
The Eleeta and Evita families both derive from the Springvale Eleeta Family. Randolph R22, one of our most outstanding Stud sires, was a son of Evita J2 and New Trend 802.
Floryx
The Floryx line is a continuation of the Springvale Floryx family, all Floryx's desending from Springvale Floryx U31. The Springvale Floryx line in turn goes back to the Springvale Pearl line and before that the Terinallum Pearl line.
Florry
All Florry's are desended from Springvale Floryx 2nd (mother of
Springvale Floryx U31) and before that the Terinallum Pearl line.
Glisper
The Glisper family was started with a mating of the Springvale Questina family and the Wambanumba line (Burn Tally).
Graceglo
The Dunlop Park Graceglo family was started from a mating between the Springvale Black Graceful family and Noranda Glowman. The Springvale Black Graceful family lines back to the Terinallum Black Graceful family.
Like many Dunlop Park families females in the Graceglo line have great longevity and can continue producing outstanding calves to a very old age.
Linda
The Linda family comes from the Springvale Ellinda family. This line was also strongly influenced on the sire side by the Springvale Spartan family. The Springvale Spartan family was descended from the Terinallum Spara family. The first Linda and matron to the line was a daughter of Xavier X17 the son of Springvale Spartan F4.
Lynier
The Lynier family is a branch of the Lynne family (below) with Wambanumba and the Springvale Spartan family on the sire side of the original Lynier (G32).
Lynne and Lynette families
In the early 1980’s several Merrigrange females were purchased, Merrigrange Lynnette V14 and her daughter Merrigrange Lywette Y19 started lines that have made a great contribution to the Dunlop Park herd. All Lynettes are descended from Y19 and all Lynnes from V14.
V14’s daughter Lynne Z9 was the mother of Jetsetter J1 (sire QAS Traveler 23-4). Jetsetter is the bull featured on our logo and his progeny were highly thought of by many of our clients.
Merry and Merry Maid
The Merry and Merrymaid families are descended from the Springvale Meromest family.
Mist
The Dunlop Park Mist family comes from the Springvale Mist family.
Myschief
This family also derives from the Springvale Mist family.
Pearl
The Dunlop Park Pearl line was started with a mating of the Springvale Floryx line with Noranda Glowman. The Springvale Floryx line in turn goes back to the Springvale Pearl line and before that the Terinallum Pearl line.
Starlight and Stardust
The Starlight and Stardust families are descendants of Springvale Stardance L2. All Starlights are descended from a mating of L2 with Wambanumba Sterling and all Stardust from a mating of L2 with Burn Tally.
Umbra
The Dunlop Park Umbra family began with two
females purchased at the Creekton dispersal
sale in 2004;
mother and daughter Umbra M12 and Umbra X59.
Wendy
The Dunlop Park Wendy Family is descended from the Springvale Floryx Family.
Wenlock
The Wenlock family is a branch of the Wendy family.
Whisper
The Whisper family comes from the Springvale Wytinda family.
Wingin
Members of the Wingin family have had various spellings over the years; Wingin, Wingen and Wingan. The family comes from the Springvale Wyeeta family which in turn came from the Wambanumba Wyeeta family. Like most Springvale female families the Wyeeta line had Currawidgen Katindy and Terinallum Brigand infused into it.
Zinnia
The Zinnia line was introduced to Dunlop Park in
the early
1990’s when Metro Zinnia C30 was purchased with a calf at foot at the
dispersal
of Bryan Grey’s Howick stud. The calf at foot was a son of Hoff
Valedictorian
SC 925 (Howick Madrid M54) and he was subsequently used as a stud sire.
Zinnia
also proved to be a useful purchase and she was retained in the herd
and is
matron to a good line of females.
Zinnia was bred by the Metro Stud of the Melbourne and Metro Board
of Works is a daughter of Stern Black
Power
426 (Imp NZ). The Zinnia family, like many others in the Dunlop Park
herd, lines back to the Terinallum herd.
